What is Paint Protection Film?
It is a thin layer of virtually invisible plastic film that is placed over a painted surface for added paint protection.
Will Paint Protection Film harm the painted surface?
The Paint Protection Film will not harm fully cured factory paint.
Is there any special care required for the film?
The only special care required is no automatic car washes for 48 hours after installation. After the initial cure time, the product can be washed and waxed just like the factory finish. Do not use abrasive polishes or rubbing compounds on the Paint Protection Film.
How is Paint Protection Film removed?
The film is removed by locating a corner and pulling it from the surface at a 90 degree angle. Adhesive will still be on the painted surface and this can be removed with a general purpose adhesive cleaner.
Can the film be reused after removal?
Once the film is removed it cannot be reused.
How long does Paint Protection Film last?
Going Graphics guarantees film from yellowing or deterioration for 5 years.
